Resume & Bio
Corey Arnold is both a photographer and Alaska commercial fisherman. For seven years he worked as a deckhand on the f/v Rollo chasing Bering Sea crab. More recently, he runs a Sockeye Salmon setnet operation at Graveyard Point in Bristol Bay, Alaska. He is currently working on a lifelong photography project entitled FISH-WORK which chronicles the commercial fishing lifestyle throughout the world. His work has been exhibited internationally and published in The New Yorker, Esquire, The Paris Review, Audubon, Rolling Stone, Outside, National Geographic, National Fisherman and the New York Times Lens blog among others. His has published two books with Nazraeli Press Including Fish-Work: The Bering Sea and Fishing with my Dad 1978-1995. Corey is represented by Charles A. Hartman Fine Art in Portland, Oregon and Richard Heller Gallery in Santa Monica.
